KEY ATTRIBUTES
Attention to detail and ability to manage projects.

DESIRABLES
Experience of CAD software preferably SketchUp
Technically proficient across software packages with a love of technology
Familiar with Canva
Ability to draw/sketch either on paper or screen
Design or Artistic sensibility
EXPECTED DUTIES
To work across a range of projects mainly holiday homes but also pubs, hotels, shops and residential.
Create budgets and specification sheets for clients/contractors
Measure and draw up room plans from site visits and/or architectural plans
Record keeping, maintaining computer systems and organising images and files
Accompany Lead Designer on site visits and client meetings
Undertake research
Place orders and develop and maintain systems for supplying projects
Research case studies
Dressing completed projects
Accompany and assist on photoshoots - will involve lifting and moving items.
AMBITIONS FOR THE ROLE
Ideally the candidate will work to a point where they can design in collaboration with Mairead or lead on projects but it’s expected that they will assist Mairead to begin with whilst getting to know the projects.
LOCATION
You can work mainly from your own desk or come and work from Mairead’s office in her home in Penmon.
You will be expected to do visits and meetings mainly around North Wales with occasional trips to London/Manchester etc.
Hours can be flexible but expected to start at 1 day a week and increase.
RATE OF PAY
Dependent upon experience but expected to be between £120 - £180 a day.
This will be a freelance position.
