Lauren graduated from Leeds Art University with a degree in Printed textiles & Surface Design, developing a love of bright colours and patterns. She became a kitchen designer before moving to North Wales and starting her own business ‘Morgan Clarke Studio’ where she designs and sews fabrics for soft furnishings and accessories.

Lauren joined Mairead & Co Interiors in 2022 and works part time as Studio Manager dealing with administration, finances, marketing and design work.

Ian is a bespoke furniture designer and interior designer who can carry out full surveys and produce technical drawings to manufacture standard. Past design projects include DEFRA reception refurbishment, Twitter, the UK’s largest BMW showroom design & Firmdale Hotels soft furnishings.

Ian moved to North Wales to be closer to the mountains and has been collaborating with, and teaching Mairead many things ever since, contributing his expert advice and enviable technical skills across projects.

Laura has loved working with plants for as long as she can remember, starting off with a tiny patch in the family garden where she learnt her first lesson ‘right plant, right place’ – Beth Chatto. Inspired by visiting the Highline in New York, Laura followed her love of all things green by enrolling in the garden design course at Capel Manor, Regent’s Park, London.

She now splits her work time between her twin passions contemporary dance and garden design, helping and inspiring Mairead with new design projects in North Wales.
