A young couple have lovingly restored the interior of the childhood home of renowned artist Kyffin Williams into a perfect retreat for them and their new family, with input from Mairead’s design expertise. They've embraced a bold approach which manages to perfectly respect the original character and proportions of this building near Beaumaris in Anglesey.
We worked with the couple to advise on the initial plans to create a large open plan kitchen diner and to design the ground floor. This design paid particular attention to the property's Arts and Crafts heritage and so using the patterns of William Morris was an obvious choice but hopefully the results are anything but.
CLIENT REVIEW
"We took on a total house renovation, and when we got to the building section we didn't know where to begin with layout or electrics. Mairead and Co Interiors have been the best decision! From pre-build to now at soft furnishings Mairead has helped us with kitchen diner, hall, landing stairs, toilets and bathrooms and bedrooms. We have learnt so much! She has pushed us to create the most beautiful and liveable space. Couldn't recommend any one else. What you have created for us is something special and we are forever thankful! Thank you!"
