Bangor University has created award winning student accommodation. At St Mary's campus they wanted the lounge area to be completely refurbished. Mairead designed a soft industrial look which is loved by students and staff. Mairead designed this commercial property project in collaboration with the interior design team at Space Like This.

"Mairead Turner was the lead designer for the refurbishment of Barlows Lounge and shop/cafe bar at St Mary’s Student Campus. Mairead worked with the University team senior staff, our contractors and QS to drive forward a scheme that is loved by students and has proved to be resilient and contemporary. It is regularly used as shoot location by TV crews and photographers due to its appealing interior. She was efficient, creative and effective throughout."
