LUXURY COMMERCIAL INTERIOR DESIGN

Mairead has completed design projects for Hotels, Bars, Restaurants, Shops and Show Homes across North Wales.

She has a particular specialism in the hospitality business, having run her partner’s successful student bar in Leeds, whilst he set up his restaurant business. This experience informs her understanding around how public hospitality venues need to have that special something whilst using resilient and versatile materials.

All of her commercial property design projects have flow and practicality at their heart. As well as being eye-catching and tasteful, they are easy to move around, making the space accessible and pleasant to be in for guests, customers and staff.

Every commercial hospitality interior project you see below has been completed in collaboration with the client, taking into account their personal tastes, and how they want their customers to experience and remember their business.

ST MARY'S LOUNGE, BANGOR

SOFT INDUSTRIAL INTERIOR STYLE IN BANGOR

Bangor University has created award winning student accommodation. At St Mary's campus they wanted the lounge area to be completely refurbished. Mairead designed a soft industrial look which is loved by students and staff. Mairead designed this commercial property project in collaboration with the interior design team at Space Like This.

DYLANS RESTAURANT

FAMILY DINING INTERIOR DESIGN PROJECT IN LLANDUDNO

The ever-popular Dylan’s Restaurant undertook an ambitious and sensitive restoration of the beautiful, listed Washington building in Llandudno.

Mairead worked with the restaurant’s owners to suggest a colour scheme for the lower floor bringing in a soft plaster pink colour on the ceilings to make the space feel more intimate and soft. A strong blue colour theme was used, mirroring the Dylan's brand with soft greys and greens throughout the public-facing interiors. This reflects the coastal seascapes that surround Dylans' seaside buildings.

CONTEMPORARY LIVING IN A HISTORIC HOME

The brief of working with bold William Morris paper, Crittall style doors and a bespoke kitchen in the childhood home of painter Kyffin Williams was always going to be a treat. The loving refurbishment of this impressive home by their stylish owners will pay particular attention to the arts and crafts philosophy and aesthetic.

WILD WINES IN BARMOUTH

WINE BAR AND WINE SHOP DESIGN PROJECT

The owner, Laura Wilds, set a fun brief, wanting a ‘wild’ jungle theme. We delivered a colourful and fresh interior to this wine shop and bar set in an archway, which is that little bit different to the usual shop interior.

The shop fit-out design needed to be versatile and practical, working as a local wine shop while doubling as somewhere that could turn into a tasting venue and wine bar.
